Ecological surveys and characterization of natural environments

We carry out rigorous field studies to document, analyze and characterize natural environments, in accordance with applicable standards.

Two ways of reading the same land.

Groupe Conseil Mikinakw inc. is an Atikamekw-owned environmental consulting firm specializing in natural environments. Based in Trois-Rivières, we work across Québec, with an operational focus on the Mauricie and Laurentides regions.

We support projects from the first field survey through to the issued authorization: ecological surveys and characterization, delineation of wetlands and water bodies and of the high-water mark, lake assessments, environmental sampling, regulatory analysis and preparation of ministerial authorization applications, geomatics and mapping, technical writing and science communication.

We also lead the social component of projects, through First Nations engagement and traditional land use studies.
